American Idol?

William Hung is getting tons of attention. I don't know if you guys watch American Idol, but this Civil Engineering Chinese student from Berkeley auditioned for American Idol with a energetic performance of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs." Maybe this guy doesn't have the necessary musical chops, but he does have a lot of guts and charisma. Or something. I'm not really sure what it is.

Anyway, now people are just throwing money at him for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! He was given $25,000 from Fuse music channel and was offered a record deal! Also, he was reportedly invited to perform at the MTV Asia Awards! It's unbelievable. And yet, I too think that he deserves it all...
