12 year old mustaches...

Dude, the real world is time consuming. After being a bum for 2 months, I'm having trouble adjusting. Which is why I haven't posted in a while. And also, the only things I think about to post are related to work but unless I'm dying for the ax, I should probably stay away from work topics.

But really the intended audience of this particular post is not the work force. And the subject does not refer to mustaches that are 12 years old. In fact this post is for all the 12 year old boys and future 12 year old boys, and their potential mustaches.

I was at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (only an hour outside Richmond!) this past weekend and I noticed a few young un's sporting the 'stache. Dear mustachioed 12 year olds, I have just one question: Why?!?! Now I know when you hit that special age, you like to show off the fact that you actually can grow hair on your face. It makes you feel older, but let me be the first to tell you that it does not make you, in any way, look older. You will always look like a silly 12 year old who is trying to grow a silly mustache.

Now the age of 12 is an awkward time. This I know. I had crazy fashion sense and style then too. And boy do I wish that someone had alerted me then. And yes, in 10 years, no one will care that you had a mustache at the age of 12 and you looked ridiculous while you had it. So continue growing that mustache if you feel ok looking ridiculous. But if you would rather be taken seriously by everyone including the 12 year old girls who you may be "crushing" on, shave. Shave like your life depends on it.
