A genealogy of ears...

The Alexander Family of Ears (well, technically Joseph Family of Ears, but that's another story entirely).

First, a pic of the patriarch: Dad in 1983.



My dad has 6 brothers, all of whom have the same prominent ears. But I am too lazy to scan in all their pictures, and so will provide just one for context.

For some reason, Premi and Angelo were blessed with normal ears. 20 years later, the ears are virtually unchanged. Also, for some reason the big earred people in the family were sitting on the same side of the dinner table -- perhaps ear discrimination in the family? Could be. At Dad's birthday dinner in 2006:
